Diamond Multimedia Case Study
Challenge/Situation:
Diamond Multimedia wanted to let the industry know that this classic company, known for its Viper product line, had returned to the marketplace with a new Viper product, as well as some new product categories.
Process/Solution:
I set up interviews at the Diamond headquarters with leading media professionals so company executives could tell the Diamond story first hand and implemented a product review campaign to get reporters products in time for reviews and round ups.
Results:
IGN.com did a six-page web interview with Diamond, declaring that the company is ‘back with a vengeance,’ while the Los Angeles Business Journal noted that ‘Diamond moves out of the rough.’ Diamond further renewed its momentum by rolling out some entirely new product lines and I secured reviews for the new Diamond TV Home Theater product in many leading publications, including PC Magazine and Mobile Entertainment while getting reviews of its new soundcard line in CRN, Computer Shopper and Maximum PC.
